CARE GUIDE

Your Mulberry bag is crafted from the finest leathers,
designed to age beautifully over time. With the right care, it will remain a treasured piece for years to come.

General Care

  • Store your bag in the protective dust bag provided when not in use, and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
  • Avoid overfilling your bag as this can alter its shape.
  • Keep your bag away from sharp objects, oils, makeup, and denim dye transfer to avoid scratches or stains.

Cleaning

  • Wipe the surface regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
  • If your bag becomes slightly dirty, use a damp cloth with clean, lukewarm water and gently wipe, never soak the leather.
  • Do not use harsh cleaning products or household cleaners.

Conditioning

  • To help maintain suppleness, use a high-quality leather cream sparingly, no more than once or twice a year. Always patch-test on a discreet area first.
  • Some Mulberry leathers are naturally untreated and will develop a unique patina, this is part of their charm.

Water & Weather

  • Protect your bag from heavy rain. If it does get wet, blot gently with a soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally, never use heat.
  • Consider using a specialist leather protector spray, but test on a small area first to check for colour changes.

Hardware & Finishing Touches

  • Polish hardware gently with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, alcohol, and hand sanitiser, as these can damage both the leather and metal details.
