Robinsons of Bawtry Gift Card Terms & Conditions

1. General Information

  • Gift Card Purchase: Robinsons of Bawtry Gift Cards can be purchased online through our website or in-store.
  • Delivery:
    • Online Purchases: Gift Cards purchased online are sent as e-gift cards to the email address provided at checkout. If you are buying it as a present, you can select "I want to send this as a gift" before checkout. This option allows you to send the gift card to any email address, include a personalised message, and schedule delivery for a specific day.
    • In-Store Purchases: In-store, you will be presented with an e-gift card unless specified that it is a gift, in which case we can provide you with a physical gift card.
  • Retention of Email/Receipt: You must retain the original email or receipt with the gift code as this is vital to redeem the Gift Card.

2. Validity

  • Expiry Date: Gift Cards are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. The expiry date will be clearly stated on the email containing the Gift Card.
  • Extensions: The validity of Gift Cards cannot be extended beyond the expiry date.

3. Usage

  • Where to Use: Gift Cards can be redeemed both online at our website and in our physical store.
  • Multiple Uses: Gift Cards can be used multiple times until the balance is fully depleted.
  • Partial Redemption: If the total value of your purchase exceeds the value of the Gift Card, the remaining balance must be paid using another payment method. If the total value of your purchase is less than the value of the Gift Card, the remaining balance will remain on the Gift Card for future use.

4. Balance and Refunds

  • Balance Check: For online purchases, you can check the remaining balance on your Gift Card by clicking the "view gift card balance" link in your original gift card email. For in-store purchases, please contact us via phone or email with your details.
  • No Refunds: Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Split Payments: For split payments involving Gift Cards and card payments, the system automatically adds any refunded money to the Gift Cards before then adding money to the card payment. We are not able to revert this automatic action.

5. Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

  • Responsibility: Robinsons of Bawtry is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorised use of Gift Cards. Please treat your Gift Card as cash.
  • Replacements: Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced.

6. Custom Amounts

  • Custom Denominations: If you require a Gift Card with a different amount than those available on our website, please contact us directly. We are happy to accommodate custom amounts upon request.

7. General Provisions

  • Fraud: Robinsons of Bawtry reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold for review Gift Cards and orders suspected of fraud or misrepresentation.
  • Changes to Terms: Robinsons of Bawtry reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on our website.
